Ellis Junior High Boys Track Successful at Hill City Invitational 

     Ellis Junior High Track traveled to Hill City, Monday, April 24, 2017. The eighth grade boys took first place, scoring 119 points. Other team results: Norton-2nd-110, Oakley-3rd-75, Phillipsburg-4th-63 pts., Stockton-5th-60 pts., Trego-6th -44 pts., Hill City-7th-38 pts. & Logan-8th-16 pts. Team results for the 7th grade are as follows; 1st place-Norton-140 pts., tying for 2nd -Hill City/Logan-73 pts., tying for 4th place Ellis/Phillipsburg-57 pts., 6th place-Stockton-43, 7th-Trego-37 and 8th-Oakley with 13 points. Tegan Cain is our new school record holder in the javelin throw, with a toss of 113’ 5.5”. Congratulations Tegan!
