EJH Girls VS Victoria

Ellis Jr. High girls basketball team came away with three wins against Victoria on Dec. 16th.  In the varsity game, Ellis dominated the entire game leading at the half 20 to 4.  Ellis continued to build on their score and keep Victoria to minimum scoring with Ellis winning the contest 38 to 13.

Leading scorer for Ellis was Isabella Eck with 17 points followed by Kylee Pfeifer with 11.  Macy Eberle had six points and Natalee North had four.  Leading rebounder for Ellis was North with 10 boards followed by Eck and Pfeifer with eight each.  Kaydawn Haag brought down seven rebounds.  Emily James had three, Braelyn Born had two and Jennifer Cunningham and Eberle each had one.

In the J.V. game, the contest was similar with Ellis gaining a solid lead by the half 14 to 6.  Ellis continued to hold Victoria to 13 points for the contest while Ellis scored 39. 

Leading in points for Ellis was North with 12 points.  Addison Kohl had seven, Alyssa Rome and Cunningham each had six, Kaycee Cranwell and Sydney Redtzke each had four points.  Leading rebounder for Ellis’ J.V. was North with 13 boards.  Redetzke had seven rebounds, Kohl had five and Rome had four.  Cranwell and Maleah Vine each had three boards, Grace Brull had two and Brooke Starns and Cunningham each had one.

In the C-game, Ellis again came away the winner beating Victoria 10 to 7.  Leading scorer for Ellis was Rome with four points.  Cranwell, Kohl and Redetzke each had two.  Leading rebounder for Ellis was Cranwell with eight boards followed by Rome and Redetzke with six, Vine with five and Brull and Kohl each had one.

Ellis will be playing Stockton on Dec. 19th for the final game of the season.
