Ellis Jr. High Girls beat the Tigers

Ellis Jr. High girls basketball team knocked down three more wins against Stockton on December 19th for the final games of the 2019 season.  In the varsity game, the Ellis girls defense continued to be strong holding Stockton to one point at the half to Ellis’ 14.  Ellis continued to control the game, especially defensively beating Stockton 28 to 5.  The win against Stockton brought the EJH varsity record for regular season games to 7-3.

Leading scorer for Ellis was Isabella Eck with 12 points.  Macy Eberle had eight followed by Kylee Pfeifer with seven and Natalee North added one point to the contest.  Leading rebounders for Ellis was Kaydawn Haag and Eck with five each followed by Pfeifer with four.  Eberle and Northe each had three boards and Braelyn Born and Emily James each had one.

In the J.V. game, Ellis girls lead throughout the game winning the contest 18 to 14.  Leading scorers for Ellis was shared with Addison Kohl and Jennifer Cunningham each having four points.  Alyssa Rome, Brooke Starns, Natalee North, Kaycee Cranwell and Sydney Redetzke each contributed two points each.  Leading rebounder for Ellis was Redetzke with 10 boards.  North and Kohl each had four rebounds followed by Starns and Cuningham each with three.  Cranwell had two rebounds and Rome and Grace Brull each had one.

In the C-game, Ellis again came away the winner beating Stockton 10 to 4.  Leading scorer for Ellis was Cranwell with four points.  Rome, Maleah Vine and Brull each had two points.  Leading rebounder for Ellis was Vine with six boards followed by Rome with five.  Starns and Brull each had three rebounds and Cranwell had one.
