Ellis Jr. High Girls Basketball Started Off a the Season Against Oakley on Nov. 5th

In the varsity game, Ellis came out strong keeping Oakley scoreless in the first quarter and being up by four. By the half, Ellis lead 10 to four. Ellis continued to build on their lead winning the contest 22 to 14. Ellis out-rebounded Oakley 49 to 30.

Leading scorers for Ellis was Macy Eberle with 13, Kylee Pfeifer with three and Isabella Eck, Natalee North and Braelyn Born each had two points. Leading rebounder for Ellis was Pfeifer getting 16 boards. Kaydawn Haag had 10 reboundes, North had eight, Emily James had five, Born had four, Eberle had three, Eck had two and Sydney Redetzke had one rebound.

In the junior varsity game, it was a close contest through the first half with Ellis going to the locker room leading by one point. In the second half, Ellis closed the deal and beat Oakley 17 to 10.

Leading scorer for Ellis was North with nine points followed by Brooke Starns with four. Jennifer Cunningham and Addison Kohl each had two. Leading rebounder for Ellis was North with seven, Redtzke with four, Kaycee Cranwell had three. Kohl, Alyssa Rome and Starns each had two boards and Cunningham had one.

In the C-game, two quarters were played. Rome, Starns and Cranwell each had two points. Starns led in rebounds with six followed by Rome with five. Maleah Vine had four boards and Cranwll had three. Ellis lost the C-game 8 to 12.
