Coach's Comments:
It was a beautiful day for a golf tournament. You couldn’t ask for better. It is great to see Brady maintain his consistency today. He has played in two high school tournaments and has finished in the top 10 both times. Brady has a calm demeanor which is critical for playing tournament golf. He doesn’t let a bad shot or a bad hole ruin his entire day. Cody and Holden both improved on their rounds at Goodland but still have work to do to be competitive. Cade injured his shoulder over the weekend and struggled his way around the course today. His score is not representative of his talent. Hopefully he can get healed up before our next tournament. Darren made his debut today and although his score was not what he was hoping for, he did have fun and I believe that he learned a lot and will play much better his next time out. We really need to work on focusing on each shot and not rushing through our round. Making good golf decisions is something that we have struggled with also and that is something that we will focus on. With 5 tournaments and only 8 days of practice before regionals so we don’t have time to waste. Next action is the 36-hole I-70 Classic at Ellis and WaKeeney on Thursday April 26.
