EHS Football loses against the La Crosse Leapards

On Friday, September 27th, EHS football hosted the La Crosse Leopards for their 4th regular season game. The Railers came into the game with a 1-2 record hoping to get their 2nd win. Ellis scored 0 points during the first half while allowing the Leopards 20 points going into halftime. The offense started gaining momentum the second half, scoring all 28 of their points in the last 2 quarters. However, the defense could not hold La Crosse back, therefore allowing them to score 22 more points with the final score being 42-28.

Tegan Cain threw for a total of 317 yards with 20 completions for 1 TD and a QB rating of 94.3.
The team only came up with 48 rushing yards, with 3 rushing touchdowns.
Zackary Eck and Tobywoodworth and 1 sack each with 2 total sacks for the whole game.

Ellis takes on the Syracuse Bulldogs next on October 4th, for the homecoming game.
