EHS Cheer 2A State Champion

On Saturday, November 18th the EHS Cheer squad traveled to Topeka to participate in the very first KSHSAA Cheerleading Game Day Showcase. They started out early in the morning with prelims; one for fight song, crowd leading (cheer), and band dance. The squad made it into finals and competed later that night. Awards rolled around and the girls were anxious and nervous. The announcers announced Ellis's name for first and the girls went crazy. Your EHS Cheer squad won the first ever KSHSAA cheer competition. Congratulations to EHS cheer and coach Kristi Bittel. Hard work pays off!
