Forensics 3 Peat

The Railers traveled to Wichita on Saturday, May 5 to compete in the 2A State Forensics Tournament. After a long day, Ellis High School became the 2A State Forensics Chmapion for the thrid year in a row. It was a hard-won victory, with only one point seperating first and second place. Eleven out of the 16 competing students broke into semi-finals, and eight broke into finals and placed. Blakely Bittel is the State Champion in Humerous Solo and placed 4th in IDA with Aiden Johnson, Drew Keller was runner up in Humerous Solo, Lane Fischer revieved 3rd in Informative Speech, Dawson Sproul with 3rd in Oration, Lydnsy Hinman was 3rd in Serious Solo and placed 6th in Duet with Caitlin Fischer, and Kaylyn Foster and Michaela Keller placed 3rd in IDA. Congratulations to the forensics team!
