Boys Lose Tough Fought Game Against Trego

On Tuesday, February 14th, Trego traveled to Ellis to play the boys. This was a rough game for Ellis. The team just wasn't quite clicking throughout the game. As the first quarter came to an end the Railers were only down four. Ellis could not stop Trego's office and it was much of the same in the second quarter. Ellis still kept it close, going into halftime down by a bucket. The third quarter was still the same. Just a back and forth battle throughout the quarter. At the start of the fourth the Railers were down three. Trego came out early and jumped out to a double digit lead. Ellis started to climb back in it with about two minutes to go. The Railers hit multiple threes to pull within three of the Eagles but it wasn't enough. Trego held off Ellis's late run and won by eight, the score being 71-63. The Railers play Norton next on Friday, February 17th, at home for blackout night.
