My Philosophy of a Teacher
I believe that teachers are the single most important people
in a school's success. A successful school must have strong leaders.
Therefore, those who choose to take on the role of a teacher must
realize that they need to be a committed instructional leader.
Being instructional leaders, teachers are facilitators of
learning; guiding the staff and students, not directing them.
Treating "all" as individuals, therefore, all students
can learn the necessary academic and social skills that will enable
them to be contributing self-sufficient members of society.
Effective leaders perform management functions well. These
functions include general planning and discipline management.
An effective teacher can integrate all of the obligations into
his/her vision of what a school should be, and do all the tasks
well. This in return will provide a safe and healthy environment
and academic success.
